Have Questions?

Construction management is the business side of any construction project. Construction managers have the business skills, experience, and education to oversee the execution of complex construction work in the private or public sector. They also can seek diverse careers as business owners, field engineers, cost estimators, estates managers, consultants, project managers, facilities managers, etc. There are over 30 different career paths in construction for this type of professional.

In order to succeed in the industrial construction sector, a professional must obtain the knowledge and skills related to project estimating and bidding, determining progress achieved, analyzing the schedule, identifying trends, and forecasting cost. The two required courses provide an outstanding basis in these areas including other project control concepts and principles. The elective of your choosing will concentrate on topics such as:

  • Process equipment, maintenance, and turnarounds
  • Electrical installations
