Course Description

Fundamentals of information management required for effective project control on an industrial construction project; data requirements, data collection, and data processing involved in measuring, evaluating, calculating, and reporting job performance from inception of project through closeout.

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion, a student will be able to:

  • Understand project control concepts related to industrial construction
  • Create and update the schedule status, cost report, project curves, and forecasting model
  • Create and update weekly and monthly client reports

Credit is awarded from LSU–Baton Rouge

Eligibility: Students enrolled in a degree program at the LSU Baton Rouge campus or in an LSU Online degree program are not eligible to take these courses through Online Distance Learning.

Online Format: eight week enrollment period; 7 modules 2 exams

Tuition and Fees

Special Requirements: a computer with reliable internet access, a webcam, and a headset or speakers, and a microphone.
