OFPALESTINE - The History of Palestine

Course Description

This course is based, in part on the textbook the David used as a history major at the US Naval Academy: "The History of the Middle East" by Sidney Fisher. Beginning in November of 2023, David did extensive additional research on the history of Palestine and wrote and posted a total of 15 essays on the topic. Much of what will be taught in the classroom will derive from those 15 essays which can be found on David’s blog. The first essay begins with Abraham and the last one ends with the signing of the peace treaties following the first Arab Israeli War in 1949. Based on his research, David has determined what he thinks the ultimate solution is for Palestine/Israel. Expect to have lively class discussions.
