CODEV2 - DevOps: Continuous Deployment MicroCert
Course Description
In today’s fast-paced IT environment, organizations need to adopt a collaborative and agile culture between teams to efficiently launch quality products at start-up speed. This means a change in an organization’s mindset and processes with DevOps; breaking down the wall between development and operations teams. The DevOps: Continuous Deployment MicroCert curriculum is designed for the beginner, those with or without a degree, who would like a deeper understanding of how to implement continuous deployment, what best practices to apply, and to differentiate between tools to deploy DevOps concepts for real-world applications.
Requirements: This online program requires access to a computer with internet access, email, an Internet browser (Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox recommended), MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
This program is your opportunity to gain applicable knowledge and skills in a convenient format online. They are designed for individuals who want to gain a new set of skills to immediately apply in the workplace. With each completion of a MicroCert, you will receive a digital badge to publicize your achievement in your specialization that can be shared online on platforms like LinkedIn. The courses you take can start you on the path toward your professional goals.Each program includes an introduction course, a fundamentals course, and an applications course. Each 6-hour course is self-paced and will take a total of 18 hours to complete. Successful completion of the three courses earns you an official LSU digital badge unique to the program that can be used to broadcast your accomplishments and newly gained skills. You can use the badge to document your expertise in the subject and share it on websites like Linkedin.

Continuing Education Programs
Continuing Education (CE) courses and programs offered online through LSU Online & Continuing Education typically include a combination of lecture and discussion as well as reading and writing assignments. You need an adequate command of English in all skill areas (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to participate in classes.

Intermediate English Skills
Most CE professional development courses and programs require at least intermediate English skills, which are equivalent to a B2 level of English language proficiency on the Self-Assessment Form. When assessing yourself, be sure to read through each of the categories under Column B2 to make sure you meet proficiency requirements.
Advanced English Skills
Online Distance Learning courses and microcreds are for-credit courses and might require more advanced English skills, equivalent to a C1 level on the Learner Self-Assessment Form. Be sure to read through each of the categories under Column C1 to make sure you meet proficiency requirements.
