DevOps Engineers are IT professionals who collaborate with software developers, system operators and other IT staff members to create and develop systems that support the users of the infrastructure. The LSU DevOps Engineer Certificate is made up of seven MicroCerts that stack up together into the certificate. There are a total of 15 courses that make up the certificate program.
Requirements: This online course requires access to a computer with internet access, email, an Internet browser (Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox recommended), MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Format: Online self- paced format with up to four weeks to complete each course. Introduction to DevOps must be take first, then you can move to any Fundamentals course followed by the application course of that topic. If you purchase the Certificate bundle, individuals will have 6 months to complete the program. Students will receive a digital badge from LSU Online & Continuing Education that can be used for online résumés, personal websites or social media.
Courses are open to all participants, not just those pursuing the Certificate.
