Course Description

Students will examine the forms and functions of various business entities, including corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, joint ventures and sole proprietorships. They’ll learn to draft documents creating entities, “authority” documents, and transfer documents.

This course is a part of the Paralegal Studies Program. You must apply and be accepted into the program in order to enroll in this course.

Prerequisites

This is an elective course in the Paralegal Studies Certificate Program. Students must have successfully completed the four core courses of the program in order to enroll in this course. Principles of Paralegal Studies, Legal Research, Legal Case Analysis, and Civil Litigation I
