Course Description

Students will learn how to assist the lawyer with post-trial motion work; the rules governing and all steps necessary in assisting the lawyer in preparing an appeal to Louisiana’s Courts of Appeal; and how to assist the lawyer in preparing a writ application to the Supreme Court of Louisiana. This course continues what was learned in Civil Litigation I, which is a prerequisite to taking this course.

This course is a part of the Paralegal Studies Program. You must apply and be accepted into the program in order to enroll in this course.
