Course Description

CROQUET is a game for ALL! Every level of fitness, health, young or old, male or female can compete. It combines skill and strategy on a 50x100 field. Like a combination of billiards and checkers. Almost everyone has played this game in their childhood, but the adult version is much more fun! This course will introduce you to the basic rules and courtesies of the 9-hoop game. You'll learn how to hold a mallet and many basic shots. Completing this course will enable you to join the Panache Croquet Club of St. Francisville, Red Stick Croquet of BR or hold your own games at home. You may start a club in your own town! What could be better than a social gathering on a beautiful day with friends and acquaintances for a few games of croquet followed by lunch or dinner? Carpe Diem!
