Course Description

For nearly 50 years, Louisiana Public Broadcasting’s mission to educate, enlighten and entertain the citizens of our state has been conducted from LPB Studios in Baton Rouge. Here’s your chance to tour LPB’s facilities, meet Kara St. Cyr and Andre Moreau…anchors of Louisiana: The State We’re In…one of the longest running programs in the PBS system, and see an actual taping of the show from the LPB Control Room. You’ll learn interesting facts about television production and volunteer opportunities at LPB. Tour begins at 10 a.m. followed immediately by the Louisiana: The State We’re In Taping at 11 a.m. Tour is limited to 10 people and will last approximately 90 minutes. Water and light refreshments will be served.
