Course Description

Conflict is a natural and inevitable part of human interaction, both in personal and professional settings. However, how we approach and resolve conflicts can greatly impact the quality of our relationships and the effectiveness of our teamwork. This course is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate conflicts constructively and transform them into opportunities for growth, understanding, and collaboration.

At the conclusion of this course, participants will:

  • Understand Conflict: Participants will gain insight into the nature and causes of conflicts, recognizing that conflict is a natural occurrence and an opportunity for growth and change.
  • Learn how to enhance communication skills, including active listening, assertive expression, and non-verbal communication, to promote open and honest dialogue.
  • Explore their own conflict resolution styles and preferences, as well as those of others, to better understand and manage conflicts.
  • Gain a toolkit of proven conflict resolution techniques, including negotiation, mediation, and problem-solving, to address conflicts in a positive and productive manner.
  • Learn that conflicts may arise from cultural differences, the training emphasizes cultural sensitivity and the importance of diversity and inclusion.
  • Learn team-building exercises to strengthen relationships and trust among team members, reducing the likelihood of conflicts.
