Course Description

Do you think all gardens are about the same? Then you need to take a photo stroll through many of the gorgeous public gardens that Charlie Fryling has visited. Through his beautiful pictures you will discover the tremendous diversity of garden designs, settings, plants and special features that make each of the gardens unique and special, whether they are in jungles, deserts, flatlands or mountains, or northern or southern climates. One includes a 65-bell carillon while others are embellished with Chihuli’s glass sculptures. Some gardens to be included are Butchart Gardens, Vancouver Island, Canada; Fairchild Gardens, Miami; Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA; Dallas Arboretum, TX; Bok Tower and Gardens, Lakeland FL; Roberto Burle Marx Home & Garden, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Monticello & Mount Vernon, Virginia; Lady Bird Johnson Wildlife Center, Austin, TX; Quito Botanic Garden, Ecuador.
