Course Description

“Ever see a grown man cry …?” Now’s your chance ! Opera 101 is designed for those who say they like music but don’t like opera. Research reveals most of those who say this have never listened to one. If this is you, the program is for you. It is not a course with lectures and tests. I am not a trained musician. And, yes, you may see grown men -and women- cry when they are transported to emotional and intellectual highs not normally reached. Hopefully when the program is finished you will go away humming an aria and looking forward to another. Type: Discussion and lecture.
