LSU Continuing Education Registration Upgrade FAQ
Why is LSU Online and Continuing Education upgrading its registration system?
LSU Online & Continuing Education is upgrading our registration systems to provide a more robust experience for learners in our continuing education programs. This includes professional courses, professional certificate programs, online college credit courses, MicroCreds, MicroCerts, and the OLLI at LSU program. The new registration system does not impact learners in our 100% online degree programs.
The new registration system includes an improved checkout experience, easier pathways to find your programs, certificates, and courses, and clearer access to your history and student profile.
Do I need to create a new account if I am already a student?
No. A new account will be created on your behalf. On the day the system goes live you will receive an email prompting you to reset your password. Once your password is reset, you can begin enrolling in courses, programs, and reviewing your student profile.
Does the new registration system change my existing Moodle access?
Moodle access will not be interrupted and you do not need to change your username or password to continue to access Moodle.
How do I enroll in programs/courses?
Once your password is reset you will be able to add programs and courses to your cart. When you are ready to enroll, you will proceed to check out and pay.
Does this upgrade impact OLLI at LSU?
Yes. OLLI at LSU members will benefit from the new registration system. Just like other continuing education students, OLLI members will be prompted via email to reset their password for their newly created accounts.
