Course Description

This drawing class will teach observational skills and techniques using graphite pencils for creating art on a two-dimensional surface. Students will learn to translate what they see onto paper by mastering fundamental concepts such as line, shape, form, value, and perspective. These classes will involve a mixture of instruction, practice, and exercises to develop hand-eye coordination. Students will study basic color theory using colored pencils to embellish their drawing. The basics of color theory are using colored pencils. Type: Hands-on.

Required Supplies: Student will purchase tools and supplies at the first-class session. Price will be under $35.00.
