Course Description

The course will cover Louisiana history from its discovery by Europeans to the end of the 19th century. It will be a survey course, not going into great detail due to the amount of time and history covered during this period. It will be directed at an audience with little to no knowledge of Louisiana history and be a starting point for those wishing a deeper dive into the material on their own. Type: Discussion and lecture.
