MATH 1550 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus I
Course Description
Limits, derivatives, and integrals of algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions, with applications. This is an Integrative Learning Core (ILC) course that awards general education credit.
Prerequisites
Non-LSU students must have passed MATH 1022: Plane Trigonometry or equivalent.
LSU students must have an appropriate ALEKS placement score.
Credit will not be given for this course and MATH 1431: Calculus with Business & Economic Applications, MATH 1510: Biomathematics: Calculus, Probability, and Statistics I, MATH 1530: Differential Calculus, MATH 1540: Integral Calculus, or MATH 1551: Honors Differential & Integral Calculus
Prerequisite Verification: By completing registration in this course, you acknowledge that you meet any prerequisites or requirements to take the course. LSU undergraduate students may have additional requirements imposed by their department or college and must consult with their academic counselor or advisor before enrolling in an ODL course.
